Hi - I may have some info. for you. My grandmother's maiden name was Forbush. She is descended from a Sanford Forbush who was orig. born in late 1799 in New Salem, MA. The ONLY Forbush family w/in New Salem at that time was Aaron Forbush (son of Aaron). They migrated to Edmenton, Otsego County, NY sometime after 1810. Their next known child, born in 1812, was a Clark Forbush who does appear later in census records for Otsego COunty. In the 1840 fed. census, Aaron Jr. (b. 1780, in Mass.), and Simeon are listed together. Your Simeon was born in 1818 and the 1820 and 1830 census has Aaron with a son w/in that age category. Hope this helps. We maybe cousins!
