Am searching for any information on a Jain McDowell who married a Forbush. Jain probably born ca 1760s and married before 1800s. Daughter of William McDowell and Mary(maiden name possibly Craig) McDowell. This family had 6 daughters, no sons. May have lived in or near York Co., SC, then in northern Spartanburg Co., SC. Mary died ca 1806 and Wm. moved into Rutherford Co., NC where he died in 1818. Any help appreciated. Sara.
