Dani - What a nice surprise to hear from you. I have lots to pass on and may have to do it in small doses. I am missing a lot of dates but have some general information. To start with, my grandparents Rolland and Josephine left the Islands in March 1940 and moved to San Luis Obispo, CA where I was born. He worked for the Army at Camp Roberts during the War. Grandpa died in November 1953 and my wonderful Nana died in January 1965. My Aunt Alice married Pat Duhrsen and gave birth to Nancy Lee (died 1974 in a private plane crash in Pueblo, CO that also killed her husband and two small children)and Barbara Lee (born 6/19/40 and died 8/27/89). She divorced Pat and later married a naval officer Harmon Grubbs and had two more children - Douglas (married with 2 children - living in Vancouver, WA) and Linda (married-4 or 5 times - with 2 daughters living in Oceanside, CA). Alice divorced Harmon and married Danny Dockendorf - lived in Colorado Springs and made their fortune in Taco Bells. Also lived in Fallbrook, CA. She died 8/12/90 (was a wonderful woman and dearly beloved by all). Edward Hugh (Uncle Scotty) married Ruth Bishop and had one daughter, Patsy. Divorced Ruth and married again but died July 1983. Patsy has never married. My mother, Betty, married my Dad, Thomas Dungan, in October 1943. I was born 7/1/45, my brother Thomas Rolland was born 1/1/48 and my sister Wendy Lynne was born 12/13/49. My Mom and Dad divorced in 1966. Mom remarried and she lost her husband last year. Dad remarried and died in July 1983. I have 2 children, my brother has 1 daughter and my sister has 4 children (by 4 different husbands) and 5 grandchildren. He lives in palmdale, CA and she in Colorado Springs, CO. I live at 25070 Gap Road, Brownsville, OR 97327, 541-466-5599. We expect to move to Las Vegas in the next year. My husband is disabled and I work for the government. This is some pretty basic information but after you've sorted it out, I'll be happy to try to fill in any blanks you come up with. I have also been in contact with Diana Green who is the daughter of Josephine's brother William. She would love to hear from you - her new e-mail address is dlgreen108@juno.com.
