I have Fobes family, kinda complicated. I have the memoirs of Edmund Smith/ his gmother was Mary Gager Fobes. In the memoirs he mentions that his mother Asenith Tracy and him went to Rutland Co., Vermont to visit relatives. This family was from Preston, Ct but I know the route the traveled to come to Ohio included Vt, NY. If you want more info, email me and I'll do what I can. This would be the correct time frame they settled Ohio in 1802. Karen A.
