Hello Forbes relatives and researchers,
I've done some more digging and have found the following
Here are 4 census records starting in 1850 with William and Sarah having a son named Andrew, and some others.
It's odd, but in 1850, the mother goes by Elizabeth J. Forbes.

Then in 1870 Andrew is out on his own and my great grandmother is listed as one of his children. The given name, the surname, the approx year of birth, the county and state all match the Andrew in the 1860 census. That's 5 data points.
