I am seeking descendants of Donald Brotchie Forbes who was born in Greenock, Scotland in 17 March 1886. His parents were John Forbes born 1847 Millport, Scotland and Elizabeth Brotchie born 1851 in Greenock.
Donald was in the Canadian Expeditionary Force 31 Bn Alberta Regiment and was killed in the Pas-de-Calais 9 April 1917. He was a Scottish Chartered Accountant and worked in the office of Senator Loughead in Calgary.
His obituary stated that he left a widow and a child.
He must have married after he joined up in 1914 in Calgary.
