Looking for anyone having information on Duncan Forbes who immmigrated from Scotland to Ontario (Hawkesbury) around the early 1830's. His mother was Ellen; siblings were James, Isabella, Annie, and Alexander. Duncan married Sarah Morrison and with their children moved to Iowa in 1869. He had a brother, Arthur, who remained in Scotland, however Arthur sent his two daughters to his brother James in Canada in 1852. Any clues as to the fathers name of Duncan will be greatly appreciated.
