My family is also from Jamaica. My Grandfather Clifford Everett Forbes was the son of Henry Ranger Forbes from Montego Bay. Clifford had 5 or 6 brothers, one named Noel and one of which (I don't know his name) emigrated to the United States in the early 1900's. Please contact me if you are interested in sharing notes; I would like to build a family tree but have very little information.
