I am searching for information on my great uncle - James Forbes son of James and Catherine Forbes (nee Delaney) born 17.3.1851 at Stanley - Tasmania.
He married twice: Emma Margaret Leslie and had two children:
James Leslie Forbes in 1878 and Charles Albert Forbes in 1882
He then married Mary Elizabeth Smith after Emma died and had the following children: Elizabeth (died in infancy); Hector James (m) Melvina Floyd ; Percy (m) Florence Evans; Archibald (died in infancy) ; Ivy May(died in infancy) ; Muriel (m) Andrew James Evans and John James Charlston ); Vera(m) Harry John Williams ; Melvina (m) George Alexander Scott; Ada May (m) Richard William Dewis and Edna(m) Leslie Edward William Hampton.
