As a matter of unfortunate circumstances the family of Donald Forbes disowned him upon his conversion to the Catholic faith. (He wanted to marry a french girl and her perants insisted he convert.) Now, as I work on my geneology, I am having a difficult time making the connection. Donalds parents were Thomas Forbes and Anna McCoye. Both were first geneation North Americans believed to have migrated thru New Brunswick to the Quebec area and later to the Caledonia County, Vermont area. Any help could provide the link to centuries of geneology. Thanks, JFG.
