In my Forbes information I have a Caleb Forbes who married Mary Elizabeth Lindsay and had at least one son Peter who married April 8,1841 in Marshall County, IL., to Sarah Buckingham b 12-2-1820 and d.3-9-1871.Their son Isaac Morgan Forbes b. 1847 d.1927 m. Frances Mary Thorp or Thorpe in 1870 Pittsburgh. She was born 1851 in Ohio and d. 1928, Henry,IL. Their son: Rankin Caleb Forbes b.1882 Hopewell,IL d.1960 Henry, IL was my grandfather. Is this possibly a connection?
