I just saw your second query and think I may have something for you. When I saw the name Lucy Forbush I realized that these women are probably descendants of Daniel Forbush and Rebecca (Perriman) of Massachusetts. Some of their descendants later changed their last name backto Forbes. A book has been published on this genealogy.
