Kathy: Where in Waterford are your FORANs from? Mine are from CLONEA, but have come to learn there are actually two CLONEAS. Mine are from what's most commonly known as "CLONEA POWER", near RATHGORMACK, CARRICK ON SUIR, MOTHEL. Visited the area about 20-years ago and saw the Old Foran Foran, very near Foran Castle, along with my ancestors church of Saints Cean and Brogan in Clonea Power. My direct ancestor came to US about 1870s at about age 15 to 20, but would have left full family behind in Ireland. Anything here sound familar?
