I am trying to tie our family back to the Foote's of Branford Ct.
David Foote b.1863 Napanee Ontario son of
Benjamin Foote (married to Catherine)
I think that our Benjamin Foote above is Benjamin Smith Foote listed below but can not yet make a formal link. Any help greatly appreciated. Anyone who has knowledge of the Napanee Foote's all info gratefully received. Sorry if this seems confused....

David Foote b1776 (born in Branford, New Haven Ct) with wife Elizabeth Foote b1787 (nee Smith also of Branford Ct)is the father of Benjamin Foote (b1838) and moved to Napanee Ontario Canada prior to 1809.
