Hi Annie, I don't imagine we are connected as my ancestor Robert Foote came over from Bo'ness, Midlothian, Scotland in the early 1700s, fought in the New Jersey regiment and then as one loyal to the King, was granted land in Canada. He settled in Nova Scotia, marrying the daughter of a New England Planter named Elizabeth of Nova Scotia, documented by a book called "Footsteps" and I have tons of photos of our Foote ancestors. However, in going through my files I found a Coat of Arms and a description. At the top of the description it says "Descendents of Nathanial Foote." So if you send me your direct email address I will be happy to scan it and send it to you to see if it will be of any use. Many of our Footes ended up in New England and other States... but if your Nathanial was a direct immigrant then there is likely no connection. Let me know if this coat of arms helps. I'm not sure how I got it so maybe we do have osme distant connection. My email address is gussiesmama@msn.com (gussie is my little Shih Tzu dog)! Blessings, marilyn Notify Administrator about this message?
