I found your genealogy posting and thought that I could offer some advise. First as to the given name spelling of Jhon. That is a very unusual spelling for the 1600's. If you meant “John” it would seem more likely. But that would bring a further problem as there are thousands of John Foote’s in the various genealogy data bases. What might help would be if you knew Jhon / John’s wife’s maiden name, or any other names and dates. Children’s names would be helpful. Further you list Jhon as your great grandfather. I the 1600 date is correct, I would suspect that it is more likely he would be your 8th or 9th grandfather. Good hunting.
