Giles W. Foote b. July 11th, 1818 Mt. Morris, Livingston Co., NY. His wife was Harriet Bump Lyon b. in Connecticut. They were married Nov. 1st, 1842. Nine children:

2.John B. Foote b. July 18th, 1844
3.Asas E. Foote b. Sept. 4th, 1846
4.Elizabeth Foote b. July 30th, 1850
5.George W. Foote b. Feb. 24th, 1862
6.Fannie J. Foote b. Aug. 2nd, 1865

9. Not named
