The Foote Family Genealogy of Nathaniel Foote of Wethersfield,CT,by Abram Foote, published in 1904 has in Appendix 1, a brief section on Richard Foote of Virginia. This Richard was born 10 Aug.1632 in Cardenham, county of Cornwall. You will find an excellant genealogy of this Richard Foote in the book, "Chotankers" by A. Edward Foote, Thornwood Book Publishers, Florence, AL.I believe it was published in 1981. I understand there are no new copies available for sale. I obtained a copy on inter library loan from University South Alabama.
