This is my annual plea for help with Rusceany FOOT, who was b. about 1784 in New York, according to several US censuses, and lived in the Albany NY area (Watervliet). Each census has her named spelled differently. Dutch genealogy sites list Roosje as Dutch for Rose, which does sound somewhat like Rusceany. Any information about FOOT or FOOD families in the Albany area in the mid 1700s to early 1800s would be greatly appreciated.
