I don't have a record on Margaret. However, Richard Foote brought the family to northern VA abt 1689. Nicholas Hayward, together with his brother-in-law, Richard Foote, (b 1632, Cardenham, Cornwall, England), Robert Bristow and George Brent of Woodstock, MD purchased 30,000 acres in present Prince William Co., VA, then in Stafford.A town was established, known as Brenton or Brent Town, and a block house was built in 1688 overlooking the Indian trail, later to be called the Carolina Road. The exact location of this town is not known, although in 1742, when the County courthouse was to be moved from what is now Woodbridge, a petition was made by Richard Foote IV (1729-1779) requesting that the courthouse be established at a place called Brent Town which he owned. Brent Town was believed to be east of Richard Foote's home in what is now the western side of Quantico, the U.S. Marine Corp Base. Margaret was probably a granddaughter of Richard Foote II, 1665-1728.
