Hi All Fones Out there in the world
I am extremely intrigued by this website which I had accidently stumbled upon. Prior to this "accident", I knew of very few Fones around the world apart from a George Fones listed on the Pearl Harbour Memorial which I visited during a trip to Hawaii in 1995.
The Fones family to which I belong to are a Chinese family. Asa far as I know it, my ancestry hails from the land of the Great Wall. But I am absolutely unfamiliar with any Fones apart from those that live in Singapore and the handful which have migrated to Canada.
As you can imagine, a Chinese with such a peculiar family name, always attracts a lot of weird remarks.
I am hoping to discover other Chinese around the world with the Fones family name.
