I have lots of info on the Fonda family, my gr-gr-gr-grandmother was Elberti Fonda,b.22 Apr., 1795, the daughter of Abraham & Margaret Grimes Fonda, b. 18 Jan., 1744 & 1753, respectively, at Claverack, N.Y., I have the family back to Douw Jellis Fonda and Rebecca Jansen, 1640 and even some back to Holland, don't know which one of the John,s is yours, there must be 2 or 3 in each generation, give me a little more if you can and I will check more....Sincerely Inez
