I have a marriage in 1946 of an Italian woman to a british soldier in Italy.I have ordered the certificate and until it arrives I do not know her forename.The person I am researching for remembers her as "Noris",but I do not know if that is short for something else or is indeed an Italian forename.I have searched for that but to no avail.
Any help would be appreciated.
