I'm having a tough time pinning down my Fonda ancestors. My great-great-great grandparents were Maria Hansen and Mathias Hoogtaling/Hotaling who were married in Caughnawaga in 1806. Maria Hansen's parents were Peter Hansen and Rachel Fonda. I'm trying to locate the parents of this Rachel Fonda who was probably born around 1750 or so. I'd appreciate any help. Thanks.
