My Mom is an Italian Fonda from around Ogdensburg, NY. Family lore says that two brothers came from Italy through NYC. They couldn't pronounce last name so it became Fonda. Brothers got split up in NYC. My great-grandfather, Pascal?, was one of them. He migrated to Northern New York. No relation to Dutch Fonda's known as of yet. Possible relation to Henry Fonda's line. Any info or arrows in the right direction appreciated. Thanks!
