Fondas from Italy to Holland in 1300s?

Several years ago, Paul Harvey's "The Rest of the Story" radio show had a piece on Jane Fonda's ancestor living in Italy in the 1300s. I think it was in Genoa. This Fonda was opposed to a war they were having, and this caused him to move to Holland. He compared it to Jane's opposition to the Vietnam war.

I contacted the show's producer to try to get a copy, but was told that was not possible. I think this was because they published these shows in book form, and it is possible that it has since been published.
