My Father Was Clebert Paul Folse born 1915 in Breaux Bridge,La. Brothers Henry and James. My Granmother and I believe GrandFather were from Raceland.Wish I could remember there first names.my father told me stories about my grandfather had 2 brothers that owned a sugar mill near Raceland and a flood ruined all the sugar crops that year (early 1900s)and the banks that loaned the money took the sugar mill. but the Bayou that ran near it was named after them,Folse Bayou. another story was my Grand mother had 2 sisters that Married 2 Brothers (last name Waguespack)that Owned 2thirds of Spindle Top oil and when they died my Granmother couldn't prove she was related to her own sisters cause the courthouse in raceland burned down (so where did all that money go?)anyway.Has anyone else heard these storys.
