I am trying to locate info on Melvina Followell who was born
1810 Kentucky. The name may have been Malvina. She married
Elijah R Bailey in 1831 Monroe County, IN. Their children:
George S, Wilham, Eleanor, David, Mary Melvina, Leman were
born between 1833 and 1842 in Iowa. Andrew was born in 1844
IL. She and Elijah were in Clinton Co, IL in the 1850
census and 1860 shows them in Coles Co, IL The 1870 Coles
Co, IL census just shows Melvina.
Mary Malvina Bailey was born 1840 Iowa. She married
Jacob B Cline in Coles Co, IL. They had a daughter
Mary Jenette Cline who was born ca 1865 in Little Egypt, IL.
Mary and Jacob were found in the Greenwood Co, KS 1880
census. By 1885 they were all living in Humboldt, Allen,
KS. This is where they lived out their life. Mary Malvina
(Bailey)Cline died in the 1930's and is buried in the
Mount Hope Cemetery of Humboldt. Jacob died before the
state census of 1895.
Mary Jenette Cline married Frank Scott. Their Daughter
LouieBelle Anna (Scott)Redmon is my great grandmother.
she was born in Kansas 1881 married to George Franklin
Redmon in 1901. In 1911 they moved to Bakersfield CA
where LouieBelle died Apr 12, 1912 from childbirth
complications.
Would really like to find Melvina Followell's parents
and siblings. Also would like to find out about her
spouse, and where their final resting space is.
