Seeking information on MAHALA FOLLOWELL (b. ca. 1805, d. ?) who was married to WILLIAM PERCIFIELD. They are found living in both Bartholomew and Brown counties. The following document has recently been brought to my attention regarding Mahala Followell and a daughter named MARIA: Bartholomew Co., IN (Bk 1 1833-1839, pg. 155) which states: "Mahala Percifield late Mahala Followell the mother of Maria Followell comes into court with her husband William Percifield and they gave MARIA back to her mother August 8, 1836.

Would appreciate any help - I have been trying to find Maria's parents
for a very long time, and now it seems I might finally have a good lead.
