I dscend from Randolph and Mary (Simmons) Follis. Mary was a brother of your ancestor, Evan Peter Follis.

From probate records in Robertson Co., Tn. for the estates of William Follis (d. 1839) and Mary (Green) Follis (d. 1855) we know they had the following children:

Mary Follis c. 1825- m. Randolph Simmons bef. 1848
Sally Follis c. 1827- m Alfred P. Jones m.31 Dec. 1845 Robertson Co., Tn.
Burgess Marion Follis 6 Aug. 1832-28 Feb. 1914
Maria Ravenscraft Follis c. 1833- M. James W. Harris 18 Dec. 1853 Robertson Co., Tn.
