Don't discount the fact that they may have been from a plural marriage. From the dates you have given me it's possible that they were some of the early mormons who practiced polygamy. As many of the husbands hid after it became against the law, the family may have continued to keep the secret. I have discovered that many of my ancestors had more than one wife at the same time. No one told me this, I discovered it while doing my genealogy. I have relatives with the name Follett in Idaho. Let me see what I can find you.
