Arthur CROUCH Folkard - UK circa 1890
Posted by: Sue Bennett (ID *****8365) Date: November 26, 2005 at 06:33:57

Search is narrowing - he is probably son, b 1836, of Daniel M & Sarah Folkard (nee Crouch?) Siblings Adela, Charlotte, Clement, Daniel M, Mary, Catherine. Most born in Brighton, and most in fact, died in Brighton. Arthur is also probably author of book "The History of the Folkard Family of Suffolk" - does anyone know where I can obtain a copy? Father Daniel Manthorpe was probably a silversmit by profession. Arthur was a civil servant in Ceylon.
