Am researching Arthur (maybe 2nd name Crouch)Folkard, born 12.2.1836 Brighton, died 26.12.1896 Marylebone London.
Married 6.12.1856 Marylebone, to Frances Sullivan, born 30.7.1840 Framlington Suffolk.
In 1891 he was living Portman Mansions Marylebone with my great grandmother, Bessie W Benning and her children, Winifred (granny!) and a son Arthur L Benning. I believe this son was illegitimate as Bessie was divorced 1898. This is shaping up to be a closet skeleton!
Would like to establish the connection, if any, between Arthur Folkard & Bessie. Anyone know anything about them?
