Gladys Hattie Clopp
Mrs. Gladys Hattie Clopp, 91, of Bartlesville, died at 6:38 p.m. Friday at Jane Phillips medical Center.
Mrs. Clopp was born on September 14, 1914 in South Coffeyville, OK to Julia M. (Parks) Folk and Charles Folk. She was raised and educated in the Wann area. Mrs. Clopp was married to Henry Leo Clopp on November 22, 1930 at Pawhuska, Ok, where they made their home until moving to Bartlesville in 1941. Mr. Clopp preceded her in death on April 4, 1986. Gladys enjoyed many hobbies, which included quilting, crocheting, gardening and her Sunday dinners. She loved her family and was a devoted Mother and grandmother. She was loved by her family and will be dearly missed.
Mrs. Clopp is survived by one son Clinton Lee Clopp of Bartlesville, three daughters Burnis I. McMurtrey Puckett and her husband Ray of Bartlesville, Joyce K. Snow and her husband Charles of Bartlesville and Sharon A. Webster and her husband Richard of Austin, Texas. Seven grandchildren Pamela Widener of Bartlesville, Janine Kyler of Bartlesville, Lisa Clark of Bartlesville, Anthoney McMurtrey of Ochelata, DeeAnna McGrew of Delaware, Ok, Sharla Reynolds of Bartlesville and Misha Webster of Austin, Texas and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Henry Leo Clopp, her parents, Julia M. (Parks) Folk and Charles Folk, three brothers Henry Folk, Irvin Bell and Earl Chapman, five sisters, Agnes Braden, Daisy McCowan, Marie LeMaster, Dollie King and Gracie Bell Kurland, one grandson David Clopp and one great grandson Lee Offutt.
A memorial has been established with the Alzheimer's Association,
Oklahoma Chapter and those who wish to contribute may do so in lieu of flowers to the Alzheimer's Association, Oklahoma Chapter, 6465 South Yale, Suite 206, Tulsa, Oklahoma 74136.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, January 24, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. in the Ochelata Cemetery, Ochelata, Ok with Pastor Larry Butcher of Whippoorwill Southern Baptist Church, Bowring, Ok officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Neekamp-Luginbuel Funeral Home.
