The January 14, 1735/36 birth date for Daniel Folger is not a problem. Under the old calendar, January 14th would have been in the 11th month of 1735. Under the old calendar March was the first month of the year and March 25th was celebrated as New Years Day. (Don't ask me why, I was told once but do not remember at present. Currently, I am too tired after shoveling out from a winter storm that deposited 2 feet of snow to dig through my research files to find the explanation for you.)

At any rate, in 1750 England and her colonies finally started using the new calendar. So Daniel's birth date should properly be written January 14, 1735/36 to acknowledge that they were still using the old calendar when he was born.

Would you please send me the URL's for the two web sites that you mentioned? My computer is old and frail. Every time I try surfing the web, it freezes on me. If I have a specific URL to go to, it usually does not misbehave too badly.

Where did Thomas settle? Do you know what his church affiliation was, after he got read out of Meeting? If he stayed in the Saratoga District, I may be able to help. I have other church records for the Saratoga District, Albany County, NY.
