Hi Pierre,

I was just going through the Foisy Family messages. I was just given a bunch of information on my Freeman family of Quebec moved to Swanton and down southward in Vermont. Now they were french canadian we had been told original name possibly Laliberte but I just got an email from a lady in Massachusetts researching her Freeman family from Colchester/ Burlington Vermont they were Foisy's from Quebec. She had given me some names and yours matched the little bit of information she had:
Louis Foisy / Levi Freeman born @ 1830's in Canada married Margaret LaClare born @ 1830's Canada. She has been researching church records and census data. Have you heard of this information before? Let me know if you would like to contact her. I am looking for my Louis born 1799.

I hope I may have given you a clue to work with
