Hiram's second wife, Lucinda Dabnor (the widow Pennington's name is elusive. She was referred to as "Nancy D."

Children of Hiram and Nancy D:

Hiram B or K (1861-1877;
William Yancy (Yant), (1864-1934), married Laura Ifama Freeman.
Mary Matilda (Till) (1869-1909), married John Perry.
Samuel (1874-, married Hattie Bersig
Emery (Cood) 1878-1977, married Rose Neal Wetherholt.

Nancy's first marriage was to John Ward (Josh) Pennington.

Hiram and Nancy D. are buried in the Toledo, Illinois, cemetery.
