Are you still out here? I am also a descendant of Francis Foard through his daughter Elmina Foard San(d)ford.

Elmina married Ambrose San(d)ford, who died in 1850. They had (among others) a daughter named Nancy Ann Sanford who first married William Harris in 1858. He was killed in the Civil War. They had a son, John W. Harris. In 1873 she married James Seth Pool, my great grandfather on my father's side.

How are you related to Francis Foard? I have a copy of his Estate papers, which are in the NC Dept. of Archives.
