The Family Origins for Windows (FOW) program hasn't been sold for about three years. Any e-mail purporting to be from FOW and dated 2010 would be as fishy as one from the Nigerian Oil Ministry.
The rest of your message doesn't make much sense either.
This forum is for people still using very old software. FOW was suceeded by Roots Magic,, which is now up to version 4.
