Martin Flynn was my father's (Harold Leo Flynn) youngest brother who died quite young. I was 13 and remember the drive from our home in Quantico, Va., (Dad was a retired Marine) to Scranton for the funeral. I have some census data that lists my grandfather Martin J. Flynn, his wife (Nora Boland) and their nine children. My dad was always proud that Martin H, ran the Erie Lackawana RR switchyard in Scranton that was called "the hump" for it incline that allowed the assembly of trains using gravity instead of switch engines. My parents had six children, of which, at 74, I am the last surviving. I am a retired professor of journalism living in a Del Webb Sun City retirement community in Georgetown, Texas. You can email me at geofly@suddenlink.net.
(PS: You have a very charming Irish name.)
