Do you know if John L. Floyd's wife, Elizabeth, was a Street? I am searching for an Elizabeth Street. I believe she married a Floyd, but have not found a marriage record at this time. There is a Floyd family listed in the 1870 Buchanan Co. VA census.
Household #129 Isom Floyd-28 years old, Elisabeth-22 years old, Mary J. b. Dec. 1869, and Rinda Street-6 years old.
Marinda (Malinda) is a very common name in the Street family that Elizabeth descends from. I have been unable to find this family after 1870. There were several of Elizabeth's family who moved on to WV and KY, her family may have also. I know that Isom is not the name of Henry's father, but could be an error in spelling in the census book.
