FREDDIE MAE FLOYD, 72, of Houston, Texas, formerly of Memphis, retired secretary for Leah School, died of diabetes Tuesday in Houston. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at St. Stephen Missionary Baptist church with burial in Elmwood. southern Funeral Home has charge. She was a volunteer at Memphis Veterans Medical Center, Houston's Interfaith Ministries-Youth Victim/Witness Program, Retired Senior Volunteer Program and Sheltering Arms. She was a member of sheeter Memorial CME Church in Houston. She leaves a daughter, Vicki Floyd Clark of Houston, and two grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to the Youth Victim/Witness Program in Houston.
