I am aware of some debates about the validity of the Matoon claim , but I have seen nothing to factually disprove it nor provide any other valid connection. Regarding my "great grandfather" claim, I fear that I was carried away by one generation. In my post of February 28, 2008, I mentioned the doubt surrounding Francis' forebears. AJF is as far back as I have found. Sorry if I mislead anyone. Notify Administrator about this message?
