Thomas E. Floyd & Drucilla Uphold Floyd were my 4th great-grandparents. They were the parents of at least 7 children (Thomas, Mary Elizabeth, James M., Lavonia, Jackson F., John B., and Daniel). Some researchers of this family have claimed that Thomas was born in Harper's Ferry, VA in 1774 and Drucilla was born in Allegany County, MD in 1784. I have been trying to find Thomas' parents for a very long time in an attempt to determine which branch of the Floyds I descend from.
I'm also interested in hearing from any distant cousins.
