There was a Jabez or Jabus Floyd (1791-1866) and brothers, Lewis and Robert, sons of William and Sarah (King) Floyd. they were in Madison Co. GA 1820-1830, I believe in Floyd Co. GA after that. Your Jabez may be sonof one of them. Lewis Floyd is still in Floyd Co in 1850 census. I think it is possible that one of these is also my line but haven't found anything to connect them with the Chancellor Floyd I am researching, except that Jabez Floyd's son Lewis Clark Floyd and my Chancel Floyd married sisters in Chattooga Co, GA and both moved to Drew Co AR, next to each other abt 1857=58. Lewis went back to GA and I've lost Chancellor Floyd after Nov of 1860 when he sold his land in Drew Co. AR.
