Melissa, I have e-mailed you my response. But if it does not go through here is info on my Samuel Floyd. Mine was born around 1792 in S.C. and married Patience Pinson (1796). One of their sons was Redding Floyd (1828) in GA. He married Catherine Murphy. The Murphy's also lived in GA. To Catherine and Redding were born some children and two of them were Clark Walter (1852) & Charles Murphy (1857) Clark is my g grandfather. Charles was PB's grandfather. Both families lived in Bartow Co. GA until Charles Murphy and his son Walter Lee (1878) (father of PB)moved to Oklahoma. Can't find any connection to Ala.
