I am sorry that i have not responded to this, but I did not recieve a notification from Genforum. You ar prob. correct in that Nancy was born in GA. I have to go back and check the 1850 census. In the 1860 and 1870 censuses of Tallapoosa Co., Al, Nancy's birth place is listed as GA. Anna or Arena niethe one shows up in the census of 1860-she may have married by then or may have died. i think that the name Anna came from an earlier Mozley researcher. I also have not found a Lillie in any of the censuses, but I did find where a Nancy Catherine Moseley was in the census of Tallapoosa Co. as the wife of Ebenezer Washington Black. They moved to Dekalb Co., AL. I believe that Nancy and Washington had a daughter named Lillian. The earlier Mozley researcher prob. got the info from a family member, since there was a daughter married to a Black and there was a Lillian in that line, but perhaps the info was not correct. Anyway, I have deleted Lilly from the children. I still haven't found who Nancy Floyd's family was. Have you been able to link her back to a family?

Thank you,
Mona Herrin
