Aug. 1838 Whereas it has been suggested to the court that Goldsborough Flowers late of Columbus County departed this life sometime in the month of June 1838 having made his last will and testament which said will cannot now be found whereas application hath been made to the court for a summons to compell, Lott Willaimson, James Griffin,Ignatius Flowers in whose possession or some of them, the said will has been since the death of the said testator to exhibit the same for legal probate It is ordered by the court that the clerk issue a summons to Lott Willaimson, Jas Griffin and I Flowers to appear before the next court in Nov, and to answer on oath where said will is, and in what manner either of them hath disposed of the same
