Rebecca, From information that John Parrish gave me, My great grand father, Richard Oliver Flowers' parents were: Goolsbury Bud Flowers and Eliza Grimes. Goolsbury was born on December 18, 1821 in Pike County, Alabama. He died on September 12, 1903 in Coffee County, Alabama. Richard Oliver's mother, Eliza was born in July 1823 and died on July 22, 1904. She is buried in the Zion Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.
If you how additional information about these people, I would appreciate it if you would pass it on to me. Have a Happy and Joyful Holiday, Sincerely Brandon Flowers.
