I'm a descendant. From John James (aka Jean-Jacques) Flournoy and his wife Mary Elizabeth Williams Jones. Their first daughter Elizabeth Julia Flournoy m. Thomas Spencer.
Their son, John Spencer m. Sally Watkins.
Their daughter Frances A. Spencer m. Jesse Winfrey.
Their daughter Frances A. Winfrey m. Dr. David Cooper
Their daughter Sarah E. Cooper m. John Field
Their daughter Emma L. Field m. William A. Cunningham
Their son Charles S. Cunningham m. Laura Caroline Brooks
Their daughter Aline Cunningham m. Louis S. Usannaz
I am a grandson of Aline Cunningham.
Last year I had the opportunity to tour the interior of the restored "Orlando Jones House" in downtown Colonial Williamsburg, Virginia. The home, as you may know was once owned by John James Flournoy and his wife Mary Elizabeth Williams Jones Flournoy. If you are further interested I can send you pics of the house and assorted other "nuggets".
I've placed all of my gathered genealogy material on including my extended notes if you may want to see them.
Best wishes, Bob Klebs
